Hugo Kennedy

Business and Digital Manager

My journey with GV3 started with Gayle coaching me in preparation of my first triathlon, reintroducing me to swimming. Bringing I believe a unique position to my role having experienced what it’s like to get back into the sport after many years away.

Gayle has been an incredible coach, mentor and more recently boss. I am forever grateful for the continued support of the GV3 community, that has an unconditional belief in each other being able to achieve their goals in swimming/triathlon. I am a firm believer in the fundamental benefits sport has to offer to one’s physical and more importantly mental health. Sport has been a pillar of support for me over the past few years.

I have got an STA Level 2 Award in Swimming Teaching and several years experience coordinating the behind the scenes of GV3, in addition to coaching at holiday camps.

It is safe to say I love my job! Whether it be coaching children triathlon or WhatsApping clients, it’s consistently evident what a special community GV3 is.

Text to followI have coached at leading swimming club National Performance Centres and have been a lead coach for large competitive squads.

I have also managed and run a swim school; supporting both swimmers and staff. Additionally, I have coached in a range of schools across Surrey delivering their programmes.

Alongside my swimming career, I am a fully qualified school teacher with a first class degree in Primary Education.

I love working for GV3 because of the strong sense of community. It is a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy sport, develop their skills and feel part of the GV3 family. I believe that sport is for everyone & so does GV3.
